Verb was started by three young entrepreneurs looking for a way to get the energy they needed in a convenient, healthy way. They were looking to differentiate from the bars currently on the market, and communicate 'energy' unconventionally with a lot of impact. The new design leverages imperfect, expressive patterns, sleek black & white colors designed for impact, and gridded lines and clean type for credibility. The brand elements were used in promotional items to create stylish accessories, sparking word-of-mouth trial, and the name expanded to Verb Energy Co. to allow the brand to move outside of the bar for future development.
